Four weeks, tasks shared fairly, a home ready the day before. The planner says what to do, on which day, and above all who does it: a table with written rules, not one person in the household handing out the work.
A plan that ends the day before, and a fair share you can check
- A 28-day plan in 4 themed weeks: Sort and clear; Kitchen and bathroom; Living room, bedrooms and fabrics; Finishing touches and floors. Six days of tasks and one rest day each week. The day before stays light; nothing is planned on the day itself.
- Each task weighs 1, 2 or 3 points according to its estimated time. The rotation table gives each task to the person with the fewest points, rotates the unpleasant tasks and changes who starts each week. The page The points tally shows each person’s total.
- Zones, not roles: Sorting and tidying, Kitchen, Bathroom, Living room, Bedrooms, Entrance and passageways. People are called A, B, C, D, E and F; first names stay on your paper.
- From 2 to 6 people: five pre-calculated tables. You only use the two pages for your household size.
- With children: a few short, safe tasks are marked “child” (clearing the entrance, putting toys away, dusting low shelves, tidying surfaces), and an adult takes on an equal weight. Never products, windows, balconies, heights or hot water for a child.
- The plan can slip: the page When the plan slips offers three options, postpone, swap or drop a task. A late task is not a failure.
- Your occasion, your date: the planner is undated. Write the date and work out the start of the plan (28 days before, or a short 14-day plan).
- Safety first, without technical advice: one product at a time, read the labels, never mix two products, air out the room, no climbing on unstable surfaces, heavy items moved by two people. No product is named.
The dates in this edition
The planner works for any date. The bonus calendar files follow the 2027 calendar: before the Start of Ramadan; before Eid al-Fitr; before Easter; before Eid al-Adha; before Christmas. The date is only the finish line: the plan gives no instructions on how to observe or celebrate it. In the version with reminders, an alarm goes off at 9 a.m. on each task day. In the Eid al-Fitr plan, no alarm during the last ten nights of Ramadan. For Easter, no tasks on Good Friday or Holy Saturday. In the files, nothing on the day before, on the day itself or on the public holidays that follow. For Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, a short 14-day plan. Lunar dates are estimated: shift the plan if the official announcement in your country differs.

Who it is for
For anyone organizing the clean-up before Ramadan, Eid, Easter or Christmas in a household of 2 to 6 people: family, couple, flatmates, extended family under one roof. For anyone who wants a visible, fair share that does not always land on the same person. For anyone who prefers paper or a tablet to an app.
Who it is not for
Not for anyone looking for how to clean, with which product or in what amount: the planner organizes tasks, it does not explain techniques. Not for anyone expecting instructions about the day itself: it is only a date here. Not for cleaning professionals, managing paid home help, a move or renovation work. Not for anyone who wants an app that sends notifications: reminders are files you import yourself.
Frequently asked questions
There are free checklists. Why this one? If a checklist is enough for you, keep it. This one adds what checklists leave out: who does what, on which day, with a points total per person, for 2 to 6 people.
How is the share worked out? Each task weighs 1 to 3 points. The table gives the task to the person with the fewest points, rotates the unpleasant tasks and changes who starts each week. A gap of 3 points or less between two people is normal: that is the weight of one big task.
We have children. Tasks marked “child” are short and safe; an adult takes on an equal weight. The printed tables are calculated for adults.
A household of one? The planner is mainly for sharing. A person living alone follows the 2-person table and does the tasks of both A and B, taking more time.
Our date is different from the files. The planner is undated: write your own date. Lunar dates in the calendar files are estimated; the free 28-day plan works for any other date.
Does it include cleaning tips? No. No products, no recipes, no amounts. Only safety rules: one product at a time, read the labels, never mix two products, air out the room.
Do I need an account or an app? No. The .ics files import into most calendar apps, if you want them.
Do I have to print everything? No: the shared pages and the 2 rotation pages for your household, on A4 or Letter.
Is it available in other languages? Yes: French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Turkish, Russian, Arabic and Chinese. Each purchase includes one language.
Can we share it? The license is personal: print it as often as your household needs, but do not resell or distribute it.
Important
This planner is a tool for organizing your household. It gives no technical cleaning advice and no advice on hygiene, health, home safety or religious practice. Read the labels of the products you use, never mix two products, air out the room, keep products out of children’s reach and do not climb onto an unstable surface. For any important decision, consult a qualified professional in your country. Dates that follow the moon are estimated: confirm them against the official announcement.
