  • Two milestones for every date that suits it: 30 days out to prepare your offer and visuals, 14 days out to announce it. Example: Black Friday is November 26, 2027, so you prepare from October 27 and announce on November 12.
  • The right date for the right market: Mother’s Day is May 9 in the United States, while Mothering Sunday in the UK is March 7. Every date carries its market codes: US, GB, and INT for international occasions.
  • You know which dates to double-check: every date is labeled official, fixed, calculated, estimated or to be confirmed. Lunar calendar celebrations (Ramadan, Eid, Lunar New Year, Diwali) are labeled estimated.
  • The celebrations of all your customers: Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, Lunar New Year, Diwali, Passover, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Hanukkah and 11.11, alongside Thanksgiving, Boxing Day, Bonfire Night and the bank holidays.
  • Respect built in: days of remembrance (Memorial Day, Remembrance Day, Remembrance Sunday) get no promotional ideas, only practical information; religious celebrations come with advice on simple, sincere greetings.
  • Ideas ready to adapt: up to 3 post ideas per date, with [words in brackets] to replace with your product or your city.
  • The milestones land in your calendar: import the .ics file and “30 days out · Prepare” and “14 days out · Announce” events appear next to each occasion. For religious holidays, these reminders suggest wishes and opening hours, never an offer; days of remembrance get none.

Exactly what you get

  • 4 files: a PDF in A4, the same PDF in US Letter, an .xlsx workbook and an .ics calendar file.
  • The PDF: 30 landscape pages. Cover, how-to page, year at a glance, then the 12 months on 2 pages each (the calendar, then the list of dates with status, milestones, ideas or advice); 9 recurring moments of the year; a blank planning grid; the sources page.
  • 58 dates in 2027 for the United States (federal holidays) and the United Kingdom (England and Wales bank holidays), plus the big international moments; 147 post ideas.
  • The .xlsx workbook, 4 sheets: Read me; 2027 dates, filterable by market, tone, status and type, with the 30-day and 14-day milestones calculated and two columns for you, “My status” and “My notes”; My dates, to add your own occasions (milestones calculate themselves); Lists. Tested in LibreOffice; compatible with Excel 2016+ and Google Sheets.
  • The .ics file: every festive date, religious celebration and international day becomes an event; when it comes with ideas, two prep events are added, 30 and 14 days out. Days of remembrance and civic public holidays appear only as “Info”, with no reminder. Estimated or unconfirmed dates are marked tentative. Can be imported into Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar (standard .ics format).
  • Dates checked in October 2026 against official or reference sources, listed in the PDF.

What you should know about the dates

6 dates are estimated: they follow a lunar calendar (Ramadan, starting around February 8; Eid al-Fitr; Eid al-Adha; Lunar New Year; Mid-Autumn Festival; Diwali). They can shift by a day depending on the country and the moon sighting. The Jewish holidays (Passover, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Hanukkah) follow the fixed Hebrew calendar: their dates are calculated and certain, and each begins at sundown the evening before. 1 date is to be confirmed: the professional football championship game on February 14, which had not been officially fixed when we wrote this. Please check these dates against official announcements before you post. UK coverage means England and Wales bank holidays; Scotland and Northern Ireland have different ones. State holidays are not all listed.

Who it is for

Shop owners, makers, restaurants and online sellers who post on their own social accounts. Content creators and small agencies managing several accounts. Anyone selling to customers from many cultures in the United States or the United Kingdom. No marketing background needed.

Who it is not for

Not for anyone looking for a tool that posts for them, an advertising strategy or audience figures. Not for businesses that mainly sell in a market this edition does not cover. Not for anyone who needs every state or regional holiday, or legal advice on sales and advertising rules.

Frequently asked questions

There are free calendars. Why this one? If a free calendar works for you, keep it. This one shows the dates for your market, labels the status of every date, works out both milestones for you, and comes in 3 formats: PDF, workbook and calendar file.

Are the Ramadan and Eid dates certain? No, and we say so: they are labeled estimated and can shift by a day. Check the announcement in your community.

Does this calendar promise results? No. It promises no sales; it helps you prepare on time, and the rest depends on your offer and your customers.

How do I get the dates into my calendar? Import the .ics file using the import option of your calendar app. The 30-day and 14-day milestones are dated events, not alarms: add an alert if you want one.

I only sell in one country. Filter the workbook on your market code. In the PDF, every date shows its market codes.

Can I print it? Yes, in landscape, on US Letter or A4 paper.

Are religious celebrations handled respectfully? They are presented as family and retail dates, with no religious commentary, and with advice on simple greetings.

Important

This calendar is a planning tool. It promises no sales and no audience. Rules on sales and advertising are flagged for information only and are not legal advice. No trademarked event name owned by a company is used.
